Part of the magic and mystery of the ayahuasca ceremony is in the music that is played during the journey with the plants. It is the shaman's tool for moving energy and directing the experience. Music becomes the conduit or vehicle for the healing energies that are called into the ceremonial space. It is through the music that a bridge is built between two worlds.

The only thing that the plants would want us to do is just to stop and listen. To actually show up for our lives. Your life changes after experiencing these sacred plants because you have turned on a brain function, you've turned on a perception that you didn't have before. There is a biological switch that is flipped.

Fiona Pedlar's Self-Introduction

1:10 minutes (690.94 KB)

FionaBorn in England, Fiona grew up in Australia where she developed a love of nature and a yearning to travel.

As an adult she returned to England to reconnect with her homeland and from there traveled extensively including spending a lengthy period of time living a communal life on a Kibbutz.

Returning to Australia she became a librarian and started reading a variety of esoteric writings. At the same time Fiona developed a strong interest in alternative healing methods, particularly the healing qualities of plants, and trained as a herbalist.

In 2003 she was drawn to Brazil and shamanic plant medicines and her experiences there hastened her own journey of self discovery.

Fiona has the rare quality of being a good listener and has an amazing level of compassion for others. Her quiet, calm presence makes even the most shy sisters and brothers feel safe in her company.

Today, her supportive role brings a true feminine aspect to these sacred workshops.

László Nagy's Self-Introduction

1:08 minutes (667.92 KB)

LaszloIn 1990 László left his native country, Hungary, with just two suitcases to start a new life in America.

Being an illegal alien for 2 years led him to make a promise at St Patrick’s Cathedral on 5th Ave, that he would change his atheist perception if somehow he could get legal status via the Green Card Lottery. Out of 19 Million applicants he was one of the lucky ones, which changed his core belief about the higher power and led him to start his own spiritual quest in America.

Searching endlessly through many different philosophies and religions, he felt the most comfortable with those teachings focusing on the heart as the center of our essence.

He also discovered the living food movement and graduated from the Hippocrates Health Institute as a Living Food Health Educator. This continues to be a great passion of his.

While living in a unique ashram setting in Australia, which lasted for almost 5 years, László gained tremendous compassion and has a natural ability to perceive and help others realize their own unique qualities.

After returning to Hungary he reconnected with his long time friend Ralph and in the sacred setting of Brazil, realized his passion and natural talent is to assist others to open their hearts.

László now brings his creativity and enthusiasm to the life transforming processes offered at the Heart of the Initiate’s sacred workshops.

It is said that the shaman sings the sickness away. The shaman's world is a world of subtle communication with the natural forces that operate behind our physical world. When we listen to the shaman's song we remember a time when we too knew how to access these forces within ourselves.
